How do you engage with alumni around the world?

The University of Calgary’s Schulich School of Engineering is internationally recognized for research and innovation. However, their existing bi-annual alumni publication was visually tired, and did not effectively communicate alumni stories or capture the school’s excitement and energy.

Schulich needed an updated publication that would engage a diverse audience, and help foster a greater sense of community among students, alumni and stakeholders.

The Frank team focused on enlivening the editorial content with information graphics, visual highlights and illustrative details. The result is a magazine that reflects professionalism, while fully expressing the nature of the school: progressive, active and intellectually curious. It has been warmly received, provoking dialogue and helping Schulich’s audiences connect.

Rita's team adds quite a remarkable value to the magazine we publish. They take our raw text and images and transform them into a magazine whose communication value is amplified many-fold. The overall impression and connection to the reader are well considered and beautifully executed.
