How do you connect employees across the continent?

A leading transporter of oil and natural gas, Enbridge is a multi-faceted company with 10,000+ employees in Canada and the United States. The company believes people are the foundation of its success, and strives to help its geographically scattered employees connect with each other, and with their company.

Frank was asked to create an internal publication that would foster a sense of community while enhancing employees’ understanding and acceptance of Enbridge’s corporate vision, values, strategies and objectives. The magazine also had to support employee recruitment and retention, while complementing existing communications tools, including eLink, the employee intranet.

As the creative force behind Link magazine, Frank worked with Enbridge’s internal editor to identify each issue’s theme, potential stories and creative opportunities. To ensure employee interest and engagement, the biannual publication included recurring features highlighting staff members’ personal and professional stories. Business updates and articles complemented Link’s cultural and community content.

Link accurately portrayed Enbridge and its employees as professional, dedicated, passionate and involved. Robust editorial content and contemporary design proved to be an engaging combination, and the magazine was embraced across the enterprise.
